My process of creating towers abides by the same principles of any real construction. The articulation of material and detail constrained to an inflexible structure, a preconceived architecture that, much like a canvas, provides an area to direct the viewers experience of of the sculpture as an object while retaining an independent yet consistent scale. Material and material manipulation shifts from rigid to slack, abetted by areas of opaqueness and transparency that serve to reveal depth and detail.
