This salt rock is from a dry lake bed in the Mojave Desert

A chemical company uses the lake bed to mine salt

The salt in the air burned my legs because I had shaved them and I stole some of the salt

Its chemical formula is NaCl which is sodium-chloride

This salt rock is probably edible but it may make you sick
